When forming a client relationship, LEAD Diligently holistically assesses the faith-driven executive to understand the “current situation” and the “envisioned future”. The gap created between these two statuses allows for both of us to strategically build a bridge to close the gap. Because we focus on the faith-driven executive’s spiritual, personal, and professional well-being, we relate business pillars to the human body for ease of learning.

Our 8 Guiding Business Pillars

Pillar 1

The Heart is like Company Culture – What you value, how your organization behaves, and its impact on others.

Pillar 2

The Blood Flow is like Finance – Crucial to the health of any business is the ability to sustain growth financially and remain cash positive.

Pillar 3

The Lungs – Oxygen is like Products and/or Services – Without a product or service (something of value to offer a customer), your business cannot trade with a customer for payment in return, and the ultimate fate is death.

Pillar 4

The Face (Ears, Mouth) are like Marketing and Sales – Attracting customers and closing deals requires listening and communicating better than your competitors.

Pillar 5

The Hands and Feet are like Operations – How products and services get produced and the overhead required to sustain the Operations.

Pillar 6

The Skeleton Structure is like Corporate Administration – Human Resources, Legal, Board of Advisors, Administration, Information Technology.

Pillar 7

The Brain is like Strategy – Business strategy follows structure. Strategy is like a set of blueprints used for building a home. Blueprints (like business strategy) are critical for a successful outcome.

Pillar 8

The Skin is like Leadership – Responsible for uniting all of the other functional pillars with clear communication, performance measurement, and execution that increases customer confidence and makes a profit for the business.

In our experience, clients who embody these 5 Guiding Qualities find the most significant

value in working with LEAD Diligently.

Our 5 Guiding Qualities

Your Faith = Your personal relationship with Jesus Christ is essential to maintaining a balanced perspective and making eternal choices. Prayer is crucial to communicating with God and finding the path He has directed for your unique leadership calling. “Knowing God” through prayer and study of the Word of God is your primary source of strength.

In the Holy Bible, Luke 6:45 tells us, “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.” KJV

The heart of man represents where he keeps his treasure. We define the heart in business as man’s source of beliefs and establishment of values. Core Values, Vision, and Mission statements are a “heart exercise” essential to scaling your business and aligning your team with your mission.

Effort = We define Effort as having the ability to execute directives, the energy to produce deliverables and be a burden bearer, diligence, hours worked in a week, endurance, strategic action, and the list goes on and on.

In the Holy Bible, Matthew 24:13 tells us, “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” KJV, and Proverbs 27:23 tells us, Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds.” KJV

Without established habits of making a consistent Effort throughout your organization and your life, your personal and professional development is hampered, and your results are stagnant.

Strategy = Strategy considers Business Plans, Metrics, Goals, Action Items, Markets, Products, Customer Experience, Organizational Structure, Commission and Bonus Incentives, and SWOT Analysis that sets the company’s direction and pre-determines the best roads to take to reach your destination.

In the Holy Bible, Psalm 119:105 tells us, Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” KJV

Having a well-crafted Strategic Plan is essential for shining a light into the darkness of options and enabling you to take the road (path) most beneficial to supporting your vision.

Discipline = We define Discipline as having the proper habits (which require sacrifices of other things you may want to do), maintaining a proven process (no matter how redundant), having a strict adherence to core values, never losing sight of your personal and professional mission, obedience to tried and proven principles, and the determination to do the same things over and over again.

In the Holy Bible, Proverbs 18:9 tells us, “He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster.” KJV

Without Discipline, “Effort” will be wasted or abused and will not produce accelerated results.

Expertise = What you don’t personally have is obtainable through others. Buy, hire, and learn it through professional coaching and advising. Join a mastermind group (Truth At Work Roundtable) and move forward by being challenged with Group and Individual Accountability.

In the Holy Bible, Psalm 119:105 tells us, Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” KJV

In the Holy Bible, Ecclesiastes 4:9 tells us, “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.” KJV, and Proverbs 27:17 tells us, “Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.” KJV
